If you’re one of the 90 percent of people who menstruate who experience period pain once a month, chances are, you’ve tried at least a few ways to help manage it. Unfortunately, our options are limited: we can take over-the-counter pain relievers or birth control pills, or try things like using a hot water bottle or exercising to ease the cramps and discomfort.
