    I have to say, when I work out I love listening to music – it “puts me in the right zone”. And I know some people might find it odd, but I enjoy listening to Jazz, it works for me. Thanks for the post 🙂

    I think it’s important to create a playlist of your favourite tracks; my playlist gets me through my workouts and runs.
    Some of the bands/artists I listen to are:
    – Nirvana
    – Joy Division
    – Foals
    – Wolf Alice
    – Jamie XX
    – Metallica

    Surprised you mention 5 Finger Death Punch…I saw them at Reading this year!

    thanks for the post,i’ve normally done my ‘workouts’ without music, but now will give it a try. i find that different music puts me in different moods.jazz or classical is way different to heavy metal.i’ll see what works.

      Yes music can motivate and inspire you while you exercise. I personally like to listen to pop and modern rock when I’m working out. However, the choice is always yours.

    I don’t really listen to pop or modern rock when I work out. I listen to a lot of hip-hop and rap music. I love listening to some Joey Bada$$ or Dr. Dre. I love throwback music too. Anything with the same tempo and beat is alright for me.

    Music is a must while I work out. I have driven back home from the gym simply because I have forgotten my earphones. lol. Even when I go on walks in the woods, I have to have music available, but I usually don’t listen to it while in the woods. So yes, music is great while working out and would definitely recommend to anyone.
    My go-to music while working out is
    Progressive house: Gai Barone, Guy J, Solid Stone, Alex Di Stefano, Basi O’ Glue
    Most of these producers have 1 hour long mixes so it works all the time.

    I love to mix it up between French, English and Spanish. There are some really great French Rap songs that I love to work out to. My daughter thinks I nuts but some of these guys are soooo good.

    Eye of the Tiger is D workout song!….I play it all the time! When my workouts are grueling nothing pumps me up more than seeing Stallone Rocky training and punching away at Mr. T!!!!
