      Hi,
The plank position is a great exercise for strengthening your core. You can start out slow and keep adding more time when you get stronger. Also, incorporating arm and leg movements while in the plank position is great. Makes for a much harder workout!

Hi there! These are some great exercises you mention. I have tried a few of them, but really need to start doing planks. I heard they can work wonders.

Are there any supplements you recommend to help speed up the process of losing the fat?

    Thanks!

    Chris

    Hi there,

I agree with you that it’s not how exhausted you are afterwards. The same philosophy is applied to weight training. It’s not how heavy the lift is, it is doing it the correct way that counts.

I find that Abs crunches and sit-ups work for me, well they did in the past anyway. A friend of mine would do sit-ups every night before he went to bed and he always had a six-pack. I wish I had his dedication.

How long would your recommend doing exercises each day?

    • homefitnessgarage says:

      Hi Craig,
It’s all about quality over quantity. Doing the proper exercises will yield more results than just doing anything in general. As far as how long you should exercise every day, well obvious the more active you are the better. You will find that some studies suggest 30 minutes or so of good activity every day. However, its really about how you want to live your lifestyle. You can exercise maybe only a few times a week and still be very active.
